First Build Complete!
#1
Hey everyone,

I just finished my first FPV build! I've been flying the Eachine Wizard X220 for a month or two now and decided I'd really like to learn how to build my own quad so when I crash or something breaks, I can fix it. Just wanted to share a few images and say thanks to everyone for helping answer all my questions! My soldering didn't turn out the cleanest but if it flies, it's fine with me. Hoping to go for a maiden flight tomorrow!

Parts I used:

iFlight SL5 frame
SucceX F4 FC
SucceX 45A 4in1 ESC
iFlight the force VTX
Xing 2207 2450KV Motors
Azure 5140 Props
JohnnyFPV Run Cam Swift 2
FrSky R-XSR

It's looking great.
The frame seems very robust.

Yeah I built it for cinematography so I needed something solid!

I haven’t been able to fly, it’s raining where I live. I’ve only flown the wizard x220 so it should be a nice upgrade.

Very similar to the Nazgul5 that I started with. I've since moved the guts to a TBS Source One for increased durability as I'm continuing to learn. Bardwell had a tune for the Nazgul5 that worked very well, although I recently added JESC and enabled RPM filters and the Betaflight defaults work great for me at this point. Check out his video on the Nazgul5. The link to the tune is in the video description.
