I've always been into RC, I find it the most fun way to apply my hobby electronics interests that I've had since a young boy.   Back at the turn of the century I was into Mini-z and BitChar-G micro cars and modding them.  I even had a site called woahnelly.com that I sold aftermarket H-bridge circuits using high quality mosfets with super low Rds on values to drive the motor current through the brushed motors.

Most of these forums are pretty much dead now as the fad/interest has moved on, I just don't think this will happen to FPV, it is too unique an experience over traditional LOS rc in my opinion.

Any of you guys/girls ever visit those forums?  I guess I'm showing my age as well, lol...

I am trying to get betaflight working for the first time.  When I do a motor test, as I increase throttle, motors 1 and 4 increase linearly, motor 2 seems to lag a little and motor 3 doesn't increase at all.  Then I get strange oscillations and the quadcopter shakes rapidly. Also motors 1 and 3 seem to keep increasing in throttle, even when I stop adding throttle input.

This only happens if I add the throttle from my radio, if I use the BetaFlight configurator throttle master control, it works normally.  My FC is connected to the receiver by SBUS

I am using a diatone mamba h743FC with the Mamba H743 target, betaflight 4.4, DSHOT300 or DHSOT600 (happens on both DSHOT 300 and 600)

Yesterday was a bit frustrating, but walking away and returning with a clear head and new perspectives, often pays dividends. So I started this build yesterday to take my mind of the iFlight build. I ran into some board orientation challenges so I called it a day. The quad was spinning out of control and rocketting for the heavens. Today I rotated the fc in BF 90 deg and fliped it 180 and all was well.

When I went to Betaflight blackbox tab, I saw a red picture of an SD card along with message "Fatal error. Reboot to retry". There was no SD card in the slot at the time.

Then, I plugged a Goodram class 10 64GB one partition FAT32 card into my Speedybee F405 flight controller. Still got fatal error.

Here's what I tried:
1) reboot
2) unplug from the USB, insert the card, plug into USB
3) unplug, boot from battery, plug USB
4) insert the SD card inverted - can't push it all the way in
5) flash Betaflight with "full chip erase" option enabled

In each case I received the same message.

How do I recover a flight controller that I accidentally turned off the USB VCP tab?

I am building the Avatar Scorpion, a bi-copter. Under Mixer/mixer preset I don't see Bi-copter in the Inav config screen.
I am using Matek F411 TE FC.
Does any one have a way to load this config?
What settings I'd need to set up?

i'm running high sierra on imac and cant get betaflight to open. any one else having this problem? ive downloaded 10.9.0 and installed it in my apps. when i go to open icon just bounces then stops and nothing happens. help

Anyone got dshot1200 running and how? From what I've seen so far betaflight stopped supporting it after 3.1 or somewhere. So I'd be fine with reverting for a minute, just trying to make sure. On the same point is it even worth it because the flight controller in the stack combo (skystarsh7hd) has dual bmi270s which run at 3.2 gyro and pid. I guess it'll be good enough haven't built it yet but what about that dshot?
