I guess you guys were right, banggood just changed the restock date for the micro f3 boards to the 13th of august instead of the earlier stated 7th of august...................

Yeah.....They did that to me three times after initially showing that the item was in stock. I finally got fed up and asked for a refund and then they told me that they would give me "store credit". Needless to say I was more then a little upset....It took me two days to convince them that was unacceptable. Bottom line...they will refund your money, but you have to be really "firm" with them. Good luck! : ) "Damn the torpedoes!!! Full speed ahead!!!" 05-Aug-2016, 12:09 PM (05-Aug-2016, 11:59 AM)sirdude Wrote: Yeah.....They did that to me three times after initially showing that the item was in stock. The boards probably arrived earlier as expected and they shipped a bunch of them! 05-Aug-2016, 12:45 PM (05-Aug-2016, 12:09 PM)willie013 Wrote: Thanks! Thanks oscar! On another note, how do we connect a ppm receiver (SRP8) to the f3 brushed board? Just solder it to uart1? If so, which cable go were on the uart1, since the ppm receiver has 3 leads (ground,5v,signal) and the uart1 port 4 ports (ground,5v,tx1,rx1)? I suppose just use the ground,5v and rx1? And do we have to make additional changes in the settings in cleanflight to make it work through the uart1 port? Thanks for the help guys! 10-Aug-2016, 08:55 PM (08-Aug-2016, 10:05 PM)willie013 Wrote: Thanks oscar! On another note, how do we connect a ppm receiver (SRP8) to the f3 brushed board? It's stated on the product page: Receiver configuration: 1. DSM DSM receiver soldered directly to the interface 3.3V, GND, RX3, CF the software configuration UART3. 2. PPM and SBUS receiver welded to the UART2 GND, + 5V, RX2 above, SBUS signal CF in the software configuration but i have yet to confirm as i haven't received the board yet. 11-Aug-2016, 04:03 PM (10-Aug-2016, 08:55 PM)Oscar Wrote: It's stated on the product page: Thanks! I saw they added that info! One other thing, do you think we can use another spare 5v pad on one of the uarts to power an FX798T or similar Camera/VTX combo, or would the load be too high on that port? 11-Aug-2016, 06:20 PM (11-Aug-2016, 04:03 PM)willie013 Wrote: Thanks! I guess I'm so excited about the build, I'm already questioning everything so I can go ahead immediately when it arrives! I noticed that the f3 board also has a buzzer port, are there any micro buzzers for micro quads? I searched it up but I could only find the regular buzzers which are quite big... Or whats the preferred way to make sure you don't overdischarge a lipo on a brushed micro quad? 11-Aug-2016, 10:53 PM (11-Aug-2016, 08:38 PM)willie013 Wrote: I see! I don't use buzzer on brushed quads, normally when it gets to 3.5V it just won't take off anymore. buzzers are too heavy! it won't over discharge your lipo, unless you keep throttling up even when it's on the ground 15-Aug-2016, 01:50 PM Got quite a few orders this weekend... took ages to get them printed and cleaned up! 16-Aug-2016, 11:05 AM (03-Aug-2016, 03:47 AM)Oscar Wrote: They do make it in 3mm as well for ultimakers I printed one out in PLA and it is quite durable. I already have the Banggood 600TVL 1/4 1.8mm CMOS FPV 170 Degree Wide Angle Lens Camera paired with a FX MM213TL 5.8G 32CH 25mW Wireless Audio Video AV Transmitter Module, which I want to mount with the camera on the front of the new frame, the Tx DSST (Double Sided Sticky Taped) to the Micro Scisky 32bits Brushed Flight Control Board mounted centrally and the aerial sticking out the rear of the frame. Can you see any issues with the above plan, as I think it should balance out OK and will probably be using hot glue to attach the camera on the front? Cheers! |
