Whoopee Micro Quad :)
#1
Fancy an Inductrix ? Why not build it yourself Smile
it's not as light weight and little as the tiny whoop, but it's just as much fun and it's cheaper to build too.

The frame weights 12 to 13g and it's printed with PolyMax filament.

STL files download on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1700311/

Attached are the design files (123D Design).

I spent lots of time to come up with this design, hope you enjoy it as much as I do Smile

it was a quick improvise lol what's better and quicker to setup as a micro quad gate?
it's actually easier to fly through than it looks..

By the way thanks for naming Whoopee Smile

Oh wow! I must be living under a quad copter rock that filament looks incredibly. To bad they only make it in 1.75mm. The Whoopee looks great too. I'll have to print one up in when I find something comparable to Polymax. Thanks for sharing It

They do make it in 3mm as well for ultimakers Smile
Try ABS if possible PLA might be a bit too brittle but I haven't tried yet..

Really! I'll have to go check again, thanks. I wouldn't even bother with PLA. There's some new stuff from Ninjatek that I've been waiting to try. https://ninjatek.com/products/filaments/armadillo/

You're welcome! - I'm honored you used the name...  Smile  But for the way I fly, mine'll be "Whoopsie" for awhile...  Gonna try to print one in ABS and see how it goes.  Thanks for posting the print files!

Based on personal experience here gents......I have had BG indicated something was in stock and I ordered based on that and it turned out that it was NOT in stock and they knew it........FWIW.

Seems to be the general principle with BG, pay and pray Smile

Guys I need some advice, I'm looking at the FX798T camera right now but stumbled upon this other camera, what is/are the difference(s) with the FX798T?
http://www.banggood.com/FX797T-5_8G-25mW...42994.html
And I guess this camera will also fit the camera mount?

I'm running the FX797T on my Tiny Whoop (Inductrix) using a 3D printed mount designed for the FX798T so should work fine.

I'd love to be able to give you some smart reason why I have that camera and not the FX798T but to be honest I didn't even realize until it arrived Smile

Going purely on the stats, 798 seems to be fixed at 3.7V (where 797 ranges from 2.5 - 5V) only and has a soft antenna stork which I suspect would be better on a Whoop given how often it hits things.

Thanks! I guess I'll just go with the 798 since it has a flexible antenna! Btw, does it matter that the video output is NTSC instead of the usual PAL in europe?
