Walksnail new BETA firmware update 34.40.15

That’s gyroflow repeating the edge pixels due to the fov/camera changing with lense correction. I set it in gyro flow to repeat instead of showing just black space. A trick I picked up from mstsc!

I prefer the "margin with feather" look, but those repeated pixels suit your fast flying. Nice flying, I think your 1S ripper is faster than my 4S setups. Did you notice any difference when reception is bad or further out, I guess they didn't improve that part of the firmware?

Seems the nano v3 has popped up for pre order and a video of the race mode.

I haven't pushed it further out yet. The truerc antenna gives stella performance, I highly reccomend it for the 1S vx. There is a part of the house where the amount of structural interference is high and it always lags there. I found it topped out at about 80-90ms of lag at that point, usually I will punch out of the narrow corridor to regain a better signal. This time I held on and cleared the corridor. 200mW.

Have been messing with the so-called upgrades to the low light vision, and honestly it looks like crap. Everything is grainy and washed out, and the 3DNR settings really didn't do much. Probably going to move the models I have using the Pro cam back to version 32 or 33.

Update: Rolled back to both 33 and then 32. Turns out, the cruddy low light begins in version 33, and continues into 34. For a good example of how much of a downgrade it was, take a look at this demonstration.

Have you tried the Pro camera in normal day light or pre-sunset? It looked pretty low contrast to me, and shadows poorly exposed - I have tried after sunset though. I think mine came with 33.

Got this yesterday on V34 at sunset. The daylight performance didn't bother me any, but the night performance was one of their big selling points.

Is it possible to move the signal strength scale to another location? I have not seen how to do this in the OSD either in Betaflight or INAV.

If you're talking about the signal bars for the video transmission, that element is being determined by the goggles/external VRX. Haven't heard of a way to move it around, so you might be stuck with taking the source code, modifying it to do that you want, compiling it, and finally flashing it.

Unfortunately no-one other than Caddx will be able to modify any source code. All of the Walksnail Avatar HD firmware is closed source.
