13-Dec-2019, 08:44 AM You need to send the RSSI data back from your Taranis to the receiver via a spare channel. The following video shows you how to do that... 13-Dec-2019, 03:11 PM With F. Port, you don't need to send RSSI back through a channel. It is automatically sent back to the FC via RSSI on MSP. As long as you disable RSSI_ADC and disable the RSSI channel you should get RSSI. Can you post a dump if you can't get it working? 14-Dec-2019, 05:07 AM (13-Dec-2019, 03:11 PM)voodoo614 Wrote: With F. Port, you don't need to send RSSI back through a channel. I am running INAV. FC - Omnibus F4 Nano V6 R-XSR with f-port firmware wired via inverted hack to UART1 GPS to UART 6 Compass to UART3 S/A to UART4 RSS_ADC is already disabled. RSSI channel is also disabled. dump attached. 14-Dec-2019, 05:25 AM set rssi_source = FPORT save 14-Dec-2019, 05:29 AM Sorry this is the correct setting set rssi_source = PROTOCOL save 14-Dec-2019, 05:35 AM 14-Dec-2019, 05:43 AM Are you sure that F. Port is working? Meaning, are you getting telemetry sensors on your radio like FC Vbat? 14-Dec-2019, 05:47 AM 14-Dec-2019, 05:56 AM (14-Dec-2019, 05:43 AM)voodoo614 Wrote: Are you sure that F. I get almost 20 sensors, which include VFAS, RSSI, GPS, and AXIS etc. I only have power, gnd and inverted hack pad wire going from RX to FC. Also receiver tab is working and able to fly too. 14-Dec-2019, 06:12 AM There might be a bug. The changes I suggested above worked for others. You can still get RSSI by sending it back through a channel as Snow suggested. Maybe you should comment on github that I linked regarding your issue. 14-Dec-2019, 08:11 AM 21-Dec-2019, 07:26 AM I dont know if RSSI on XM+ is working correctly or not. So I tried flying outdoor (me sitting indoor) and RSSI really not decreasing. Also I tried flying indoor 2 storey house, even when the whoop in on second floor RSSI not decreasing. See below video Here is how AUX12 (RSSI) channel showing up in betaflight receiver tab Attached dump as well 21-Dec-2019, 08:37 AM Put the radio in range mode and see what the RSSI when you are far apart from the receiver. 21-Dec-2019, 11:47 AM 21-Dec-2019, 11:54 AM RnG button? |
