Binding Jumper T-Lite with R-XSR
#1
Hey Everyone,
At this point I had tried to bind them for 2-3 days and it didnt give me any results.
I have bought Nazgul 5 with R-XSR and Jumper T-Lite for it.
It is my first quad, and I have no idea what I'm doing but I have tried and I really need help to understand it.

Software :
R-XSR FCC ACCST 191112.frk  - Receiver

OpenTx Version 2.3.11 jumper (factory 84c86f71) - transmitter
Not Supported Yet, so i probably can't update OpenTx.

MultiProtocol Software - multi-stm-serial-Aetr-v1.3.2.30.bin

Bind Procedure:
1)Push bind button on receiver, and then with pushed button connect PC Cabble to run it out.
2)Green,Blue and Red light are solid flashing.
3)From a distance +/- 1 meter i start to use bind on Transmitter

Transmitter Bind Options:
 Type: FrSkyX
 SubType: D16
 Bind>Ch1-8 Telem ON

4)After the transmitter stop buzzing, there is still solid Green,Blue and Red light.

Have you configured it in betaflight BEFORE you tried binding?? I’ve seen ready to fly (with rx installed) quads not have things proper in betaflight

Red blinking does mean you are not bound. Try the 191128 firmware on the Frsky website.

I have found only version with FPORT : RXSR-FPORT_FCC_ACCST_191128.frk  ( R-XSR FCC ACCST 191112.frk comes from the same package)
My receiver has 3 wires, and there shouldn't be 4 for FPORT to work?

Using  RXSR-FPORT_FCC_ACCST_191128.frk, all of them still solid flashing.
I have no idea what to do next.

Do you have a spare R-XSR to try? you might have a bad receiver.

FRSKY STRIKES AGAIN!!
Simple, find the biggest hammer in your tool box and... I’m just kidding..
Seriously, Frsky has updated firmware on new RXs and it is causing major frustration throughout the RC community...
My solution was easy. I changed to crossfire..

Have you reflash the firmware.  The newer receiver might have the new firmware which is not compatible.

Sorry for long time not responding, yeah it was the first what i have done to know what version i have on it. It seems to that they cant bind together, like it was with previous one. I started to think maybe there is something bad with controller, but it should work. I had never run it without antenna, or put the battery in wrong order.

I assume you don't know anyone with a radio you can test against. Might be time to contact the vendor and get a replacement radio.
