1 Reviewing a video of my last flight I realised I overflew the battery (GNB 3S 300 mAh) and the OSD lost all text overlays. Last displayed average cell voltage is 3.55. Both the inflight and the end statistics are not there.
Was going under this voltage the cause or I should look into something else?
Thanks

97 I have not quite gotten the battery calibration down yet so I often fly until "out of juice". If you go this far it appears to me like FC reaches an operational threshold and shuts down...period... nothing beyond that. Presumably this voltage is 3.50 volts, but I don't know for sure. Plus, I am not sure that all flight controllers behave the same.
First, setting the "Full" battery in Betaflight is not too hard, this I can accomplish.
Next, I have been working on calibrating the mAh used so that I can get a better OSD reading; there is a formula and it is really pretty simple. Thing is, you have to get the mAh that the charger show after re-charging the battery, then you plug this into the formula and get a number, you put this in mAh setting. Now, you need to fly another battery and re-check your numbers. I figure after a few times, the result number should become pretty constant.
Thing is, you do all this and the "End" OSD voltage still doesn't match the "End" measured voltage. Confusing.
From what I can tell, the per cell voltage should not get below 3.50 volts, but I can rarely tell when the quad is ACTUALLY at that voltage. In fact, all of my quads read differently...an OSD reading somewhere around 3.0 volts (plus or minus about .2 volts) is where the battery actually has 3.50 or more volts.
So, I am interested as well to see where this thread leads.
