Hi everyone....
I have 2 questions...
1) ATOMRC hurricane 5 (I don't recommend this one) , everything was working fine for a bit but I wanted to test ez landing, upgraded to 4.5, and now when I arm the drone and throttle a little I lose OSD, I also tried going back to 4.4 and still the same issue....I noticed the receiver is on top of the  VTX and moved it to the side....nothing helps!
any ideas?
2) This Mipi connection keep on coming lose....can I just put isolation tape on top of it?

Ok, first question .. what system (video) are u using ? And how is it getting power? Are u loosing JUST the osd ?

Normal analogue.
The motors do spin s and the drone does take off

Mipi connections that I know of (in fpv) are used with digital video systems from the camera to the vtx..
Do u have camera video image? If so.. it’s not the camera feed or the vtx feed..if u are just missing “information” on the screen most likely it could be the osd on the fc failing..

I found the specs on that quad,,,it comes in multiple configurations .. Not familiar with the esc or fc.. and what exactly is “Dual Oxidation Aluminum Alloy”?? This is the description of the camera “cage”..man, I hate “sales fluff”
The motor description is even worse “ *4 Thrust” and “10 minute efficient hover time”.. how big is the 6s lipo (or lion) battery?
It does come with one of my favorite camera “Cadxx Ratel “if memory serves I THINK that camera may have its own osd.. what information it displays.. I don’t know..
If the osd chip in the fc has failed.. u just may be able to use it for what u need.. and later WHEN (not if) you damage the fc and have to replace it .. you can get the fc osd…
I’m still curious about this mipi cable..
This quad also has a gps?? Well to utilize that info.. the fc osd needs to be operational..

I lost video completely on throttle... Not sure why I said osd

Losing video completely on throttle suggests a power problem with the battery. Or a heat problem with the vtx.
