Where do you people buy screws and such to place PDBs, FSs and other "cards" on? I got all parts I need for my new racing quad but I have no screws. Any recommendations?

Any recommendations? 06-Jul-2016, 12:51 AM As I live in Australia I buy local where possible, Screws http://buzzhobbies.com.au/index.php?rout...uct_id=770 Standoffs http://buzzhobbies.com.au/index.php?rout...uct_id=493 Loads of places sell them, just google nylon standoffs and M3 Button head screws 06-Jul-2016, 02:11 AM I like both monsterbolts and mr-retro (liquidRC) on eBay. If one doesn't have what I want, the other one usually does. Both are in the USA if that makes a difference (but I believe both ship world-wide). 06-Jul-2016, 05:49 PM Home Depot sells m3 button head screws and I got a pack of m3 nylon standoffs/screws off amazon. 06-Jul-2016, 06:28 PM Nylon standoffs I've got from Amazon. Aluminum nuts and bolts I have only bought from http://www.fastener-express.com/aluminum...shers.aspx (they have colors!) You probably want M3 screws for most regular quad setups. 07-Jul-2016, 11:00 AM (This post was last modified: 07-Jul-2016, 11:00 AM by HamsterFPV.) Nylon standoffs and nylon screws I get from eBay and Amazon. Nylocs and screws I get from local hardware stores. Current quad: ZMR 250 / DYS SE2205 / Littlebee 20A ESCs / Drone Lab 1500 4S / Naze32 Rev5 / BF 2.7.1 FPV: Runcam Skyplus / Aomway 200mw VTX / Fatshark DomV1 >>>>>>>>>>Check Out My Build<<<<<<<<<< 09-Jul-2016, 04:36 PM Do places like home depot have these items? 09-Jul-2016, 04:37 PM 21-Jul-2016, 04:17 AM Home Depot's smallest size is M3. Banggood has boxes with assorted lengths. And much cheaper than Home Depot, but you need to wait for shipping. http://www.banggood.com/90pcs-M3-Stainle...05579.html If your in a hurry got to Jaycar. they have a good selection of "m3 , 3mm" bolts, screws, spacers, nylon and metal http://www.jaycar.com.au/6-3mm-x-3mm-tap...5/p/HP0920 http://www.jaycar.com.au/3mm-nylon-nuts-...5/p/HP0150 http://www.jaycar.com.au/6mm-x-3mm-steel...0/p/HP0401 If your not in a hurry try BOLT , they are slow to post stuff about 2-3 days before dispatch . They have a plastic/rubber anti-vibration kit. http://boltrc.com/index.php?route=produc...ct_id=1144 21-Jul-2016, 06:01 AM Jaycar is I need urgently. Otherwise I tend to buy "bulk" sets of various things via AliExpress... 21-Jul-2016, 07:25 AM (21-Jul-2016, 06:01 AM)Aaron Wrote: Jaycar is I need urgently. Otherwise I tend to buy "bulk" sets of various things via AliExpress... Bulk buy is the best , you get 50x bolt for 10x the price. I like the feeling of, "I need this size bolt ?"....... " I know Ive got that size , I GOT ALL THE SIZES ". 21-Jul-2016, 11:24 AM A bloke asks for some bolts and gets 150 views 10 replies, whats going on . Is "bolts " code for something ? 22-Jul-2016, 02:57 AM (21-Jul-2016, 11:24 AM)FPVXX Wrote: A bloke asks for some bolts and gets 150 views 10 replies, whats going on . Is "bolts " code for something ? Yeah everyone loves talking about nuts I think it's because we are all looking for the magical answer that doesn't involve boring $3 of fun driving to the hardware store for a pack of 5 screws for $4.95 And it does seem silly to buy a bulk-pack of 160 spacers when you only need 4 (even if 160 cost the same as the 10-pack from the local shop) 22-Jul-2016, 08:08 AM I grab all my nuts and bolts off work. We stock like 50 varieties lol Do Bunnings sell them? |
