It has 5 serial ports(UART1, UART2, UART3, UART4, UART6), one I2C port, and one SBUS interface. (The serial port used by SBUS is RX2), onboard a WS2812 LED light, and WS2812 LED pads. Also built-in 8MB blackbox and BMP280 barometer, buzzerinterface, camera interface. GSF405A AIO FC has the built-in full ELRS receiver, connected on the UART1 port. It is not an SPI receiver, so it the ELRS firmware can be updated via Wi-Fi or Betaflight serial passthrough. ELRS firmware target is DIY_2400_RX_ESP8285_SX1280. not the most lightweight option but looks still nice Posts: 4,550 Threads: 38 Likes Received: 1,245 in 1,064 posts Likes Given: 430 Joined: Aug 2020 Reputation: 118 24-Dec-2021, 04:56 PM (This post was last modified: 24-Dec-2021, 04:56 PM by kafie1980.) Those are some killer features they packed into a whoop size FC. ELRS, barometer, a ton of Uarts, I2C, current sensor. 5amp ESC’s are the only thing to consider but still a great platform for 1S LR. It would be fun to see how small of a fully autonomous craft you could build... I just saw these on n AliExpress and have bought a couple for a 1S 85mm whoop build. • Posts: 5,965 Threads: 47 Likes Received: 2,798 in 2,259 posts Likes Given: 7,776 Joined: Jul 2019 Reputation: 97 Looks nice for a build with small motors. Maybe a whoop or small toothpick. With only 5A Esc, I am not sure about using it in any 3" or larger quad. I guess it depends on the motors, but bigger quads generally have bigger motors. 5A just seems a bit small. Could they not have made it a 15A. Anyway, looks like a nice board for the smaller quads. • Posts: 1,492 Threads: 93 Likes Received: 574 in 468 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Nov 2020 Reputation: 27 5A vs 12/13A is world of difference. Very little you can do with 5A.. BUT. If it does support 2S well, you can use up to HGLRC 1202.5 8000KV light 3inch https://pyrodrone.com/products/hglrc-aeo...icro-motor |
