IFlight Blitz VTX 1.6W not recognized
#1
Hi all I recently replaced my Flight controller after breaking my last one. Its the same on that was previously installed so installation was easy. Everything is working normally after configuring everything in Betaflight but I'm unable to get my Video TX to work. I copied all the same settings from my previous FC but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

FC - IFlight Blitz F7 v1.2
VTX - IFlight Blitz VTX 1.6W

You need to find out which number TX pad on the FC the RX wire from the iFlight BLITZ 5.8GHz 1.6W VTX is connected to, then in the Ports tab of Betaflight Configurator you need to set the dropdown value in the Peripherals column for that UART to "VTX (IRC Tramp)" and then click the "Save and Reboot" button in the bottom right. When you then reconnect Betaflight Configurator to the FC you should then be able to access all the settings in the Video Transmitter tab.

Okay jus tried that and no luck so far. Any other ideas?

You can't use a UART for more than one device. UART2 is already configured to be used for "Serial RX", so it can't also be used for SmartAudio control.

Which UART number on the FC is your receiver wired to, and which UART is your VTX wired to?

I'm having issues with my transmitter showing Device ready "False". I recently had to swap my Flight controller for a new one. All connections look to be fine and I believe all my ports are set up correctly.

To get the Device Ready to read "True" you need power to the VTX. If the VTX can be powered from the FC using the USAB connection or most probably the VTX wants you to plug in the flight pack battery.

Even with the battery connected I'm still seeing "False". The transmitter is getting power because I gets warm after connecting the Battery.

Are you sure your VTx still works? After breaking your previous FC is it possible you also broke the VTx ?

I'm using an I-flight controller and changing my VTX to the Blitz was as easy as plugging in the connector. It is using UART1 and my setting for that is the same. The only difference is that I have only enabled Serial Rx on UART2. Maybe that helps. Also make sure you download the correct VTX tables, but it looks like you did. Good Luck. The VTX if it works is nice as far as I've tested.
