Vtx overheating
#1
Hello everyone I connected a betafpv M03 vtx to a FOXEER Razer fpv camera and when I connected it to betaflight it starts to overheat. I am wondering if the camera is drawing to much current. Also there is no picture only OSD?

Your camera is either bad or you wired ur wrong..inspect your solder connections REAL GOOD! Use a jewelers loupe .. if it looks good se-solder and reconnect to betaflight.. see if your vtx gets hot..
But double check your wiring first if it’s a plug.. they are not so pinned the same

The camera works on a different vtx and I just checked the wires with a magnifying glass and I could not see any short circuits and the vtx still gets hot

Is this while it's sat on the bench, running at the full 400mW without cooling? Or while running at 25mW without cooling? Or while on a quad flying at 30mph?
