My 5” frame is gonna need to be replaced in the future. And I know there’s some users on here who have their own frames. Can we make a list of users and frames they have made? Maybe add a price list?

Otherwise my frame is from China and no longer available and would consider drawing it up in AutoCAD and allow someone to print it? Idk, I’m just throwing ideas and not sure what I want to do. I’m far too cheap to spend $100 for a frame. My use for a drone is to fly and have fun every once in a while.

Ever consider something smaller than 5"?

i dont know a 5inch design by a member, roninuav did some frames up to 4inch.

it sounds like you need some used frames :-) maybe someone inhere as a frame not intedet for use again for free? where are you located?
maybe ask for a frame in a new thread will give an offer

you told you wont spend 100 for a frame, but for the fun overtime, an armattan frame with lifetime warranty does cover "to fly and have fun" for good value for money

The only other member I’m aware of that designs and sells frames is the.ronin, but he seems to be out of the game these days and no longer actively designing or selling frames.

My top 4 sources for drone parts are, in order of preference, as follows:
1) PyroDrone
2) RDQ
3) GetFPV
4) Amazon  (yeah, that's right).

All of these vendors have tons of 5-inch frames. There are so many and
range from "name" brands to "generic" knock offs. How much difference
does one frame make over another. Well, I guess that depends on the type
of flying that you do. For cruising and cinematic flights, I doubt that you 
would notice much difference. ACRO flying might be a bit different, but
surely there is a frame in there somewhere that would work. 

Now, I don't typically build quads larger than 4-inch, so take this with a grain
of salt, however, I don't see a lot of difference in most of the frames and most
of them seem to be decent.
