i guess d8 mode is available to save resources and size, i didnt mention about a possible benefit, intresting... i guess the most receivers with d8 are generaly less quality, i beleive even if there would be a tech benefit, the quality of the receivers would decrease every benefit to zero.
i like to know if there is any tech benefit.
flysky has some good 8chanal receiver, their protocol ibus is the fastest in theory. probably the protocoll, how it transmit matters alot about latency, is there any importance about latancy and the number of channels?

I just wondered. I can't feel the difference but I once fly a Tiny Hawk RTF kit when they were new and that kit TX/Goggle definitely had some latency I noticed. Anyone use D8 mode on a 5"?

yes xD if got a trashbuild, for bashing indoor tracks like parkhouse... i didnt notice any latency difference, but didnt notice doesnt mean there isnt... because the parts are all used, they have some issues and doesnt fly like they could, it would be impossible to feel exactly the latency of the receiver.
