We had a vote on the best Video transmitter (VTX) for mini quad last month and here is the result.
This list will probably change as new products appear all the time, but that should give you an idea what choices there are, and what to buy, right now.
Here are some comments from the people who voted as well.
Aomway 200mW
+13
Cheap because they always break, does the job and has a easy button push channel change on side (not bottom).
The old aomway was also good but the new push button 40 channel should be an improvement.

Hawkeye 200mW

Tiny size and sma extension are very nice. Been my most reliable unit so far.
TS5823 200mw
+8
5823 was my first vtx for fpv and was better than immersions for size. I started using the foxeer 25mw raceband for racing or flying with large groups but I usually stick with 5823 or 5828 (600mw) if I'm by myself or only couple people.
immersionRC 600mW
+5
FX799T classic SMA
+3
I am running a FX799T right now but I'm not too impressed, signal range doesn't seem to be as good as the aomway. Could possibly be that my Airblade antennas are shot from too many crashes but I'll have a set of duraspecs to replace them with on Friday. I will retest the range and report back.
TBS Unify Pro 25mw - 800mW
+3
Tbs unity pro it has an sma extencion adjustable power and 40 ch. Best VTX money can buy
But it heats up so much!
Foxeer 600mW
+3
Lumenier 25mA
+2
Luminier 600mw raceband
+1
TS5828
+1
Ts5828 mini 600mw, haven't pushed the range limits yet but easily get 1.5-2km so far with aomway antennas (currently on my 210 and 180's and really affordable). I like the idea of the adjustable mw vtx like the draglink 600/200/25mw selectable.
Lumenier 200mw
+1
Lumenier 200mw or any clone is my choice. Really easy to use 40 channel vtx with 1 button to change channel/band. Plus the connector grabs on to the VTX which means that it won't come loose in a crash or with vibrations.
Small form and doesn't heat too much either.
FlySight TX502 200mw raceband
+1
it's the best I've used so far: small, light, raceband, supports wide voltage, has 5v out, and most importantly: channel is shown on display as number and changing it is just a press on a button.

About selecting the right output power for VTX:
if you're flying alone it's best to have 600mw vtx, but if you flying with groups better to have selectable vtx that can scream from 20mw - 200mw - 600mw. But currently these vtx are not cheap.
