Avatar HD Goggles X foam
#1
FYI NewBeeDrone is selling a multi goggle compatible foam. I tried it on my Goggles X and found it to be a good, if not perfect, fit on the goggles themselves and a little more comfortable on my face. For me the fit of the Goggles X is less than perfect, they are too wide so they let light in at the far left and right (which may help with defogging BTW) and they press too firmly down on the bridge of my nose. I like the feel of the NewBeeDrone foam better than stock because they are softer but the fit is not changed much.

Next I hope to find a better Headstrap with more elasticity.

I wish that Caddx and other manufacturers (DJI) followed suit with what Divimath have done with their HDZero goggles where the faceplate is modular and just clips on. The HDZero Goggles come with two faceplates - one for wide faces and another for narrow faces, so you just clip on the one that fits your own face the best. The DJI FPV Goggles are way too wide for my face (fixed with thicker foam but that puts the screen focus off in the corners), but the narrow faceplate supplied with the HDZero Goggles fits my face like a glove with the standard foam and I can see the whole screen without any issues. It's such a simple yet ingenious design. It boggles me why others haven't copied it.

Agreed, I think everyone is disappointed that Caddx entry into the goggle frame market is so "shortsighted". Why design a goggle frame with endless options for future electronics swaps (pop the hood and instal a new motor!) but not a quality solution for different sized faces?
Note that Caddx offers a "small foam" for the Goggles X, I pre ordered the goggles and got it as a "gift". It is completely useless and doesn't even wrap around over the nose, so you get hard plastic pressing against your nose? Unbelievable.
