Here I am aligning the impact with the red YAW gyro data, it's approx 200ms lagging.   Two frames later its' mouth is basically over the camera.

I don't flinch, recover and continue to fly.  Stuff that bugger, can't stand Kookaburras, they're the pricks of Australian fauna.

Tis the season for territorial birds here. They love to peck and run. Cardinals and humming birds are the most aggressive in my neck of the woods.
