Question
[Image: i96KWQul.jpg]

i have this old receiver, the video out on the micro usb seems to be broken, i would like to display the feed on one of my raspi displays; i have a 2,8" adafruit display and the original raspi 7inch display.

i only experienced single wire-video-signal to attache. is it possible there is such a video in somewhere on that adafruit or raspberry display? or is this not usual there?

thank you for any help

they are not compatible, you need a display with NTSC video input (analog video) that's the signal that come out from a 5.8Ghz rx .
I only know that i know nothing

usb (universal serial bus) ports are digital not analog, regardless of the connector , mini, micro or USB C , the way your android device receive video is the same principle as a PC webcam can display video on your computer display, internal circuitry converts (digitize) the signal from the camera sensor and that gets carried trough the USB data bus and then get decoded In to a suitable format that a pc or other display medium can show.
see the below USB info

Coincidentally, I am interested in making my own video receiver using the Boscom RX5808 module. I think your receiver has exactly the same module. I still don't know if I'll control it with arduino or good old logic ICs. In any case, the output signal is analog and needs to be digitized as "rolo95" writes, if you want to use it other than on some composite input such as SCART on TV, S-video, etc.
It is possible to buy a simple converter. Google -> "VHS to DVD Converter". Here we already have the signal available as USB and the device looks like a webcam.
Because I know almost nothing about the Raspberry, the next steps are just my guesses. Use the emulator on some android application for webcam, for example Go FPV. Or straight application swebcam. https://www.meccanismocomplesso.org/en/h...pberry-pi/
I would go this way, it's just my idea, of course.

It's a pity, here is basically a complete solution.
