0 Oh Also, My objective is to have my cap attached to the XT90 Plug, So I dont need to attach it to the ESC.
I screwed up initially and forgot to solder the Cap onto the SpeedyBee 50A ESC when I 1st started the build, And saw a guy on here who had the cap
inside of a 3D printed holder, And loved how clean it was...
Anyway...
-Thanks

3 Question: do you want to have a capacitor installed so that you can say you have a capacitor installed on this build... or, do you want a capacitor installed that does anything?

3 If capacitor is installed at the end of the wire next to where you plug in power, what does the capacitor do for you other than grab some inrush current when you first plug in so that you don't hear it spark? You are not gaining much anything else than adding weight right?
If capacitor is installed near the source of voltage spikes, i.e. right at the ESC, it is able to mute those spikes. It can not do that out at the end of the power plug right...
I understood what you said the first time, and the second time. I am not trying to be rude with my questions so please don't take it that way.
If it is tight for space where you want to install the cap, you can solder on short-ish say 18-20AWG silicone wire legs @ ~1/2"-3/4" to gain extension/flexibility.

41 Is adding a capacitor that weighs a few grams really relevant on whatever he is using an XT90 to power. It's obviously not a 65mm whoop where weight is a massive issue? The fact he needs that amount of power handling suggests a massive craft with many kg of thrust.
I see this bandied about on many threads. So if you build a quad that generates say 4kg of thrust, do you really worry about a 10g component? I'm genuinely interested if people do.
