I think it may be pooched, but wanted to check if someone knows of a way to confirm whether it is...

Last pack > powerloop > sag > slammed onto ground bottom side.

Connect USB > no lights

Connect Lipo > 3 beeps > motors = no reaction

Tried connecting USB + Lipo > no beeps (expected?) > lights (but does not detect as device on PC)

Anything else I can try?


Edit: additional info -

Lipo to quad = 5 blue > 4 green (I think it's green?  can't tell..) > 1 red.  Does this twice, then no lights after that.

only mod done: removed VTX antenna and added ufl connector/loli antenna.

Ur fc is toast.. u have several solutions.. either buy a new fc (if u can find one) for over $100..
Or install a whoop fc.. I installed a Darwin 1-3s f4 fc.. go to Raceday Quads Forum.. “Tinyhawk freestyle upgrades”.. I did a full thread

Edit: Did you move the cap to a different location? I don't see the cap in the pic on the RDQ thread you linked.

Yes, moved the cap to the outside and insulated the wires..fair warning.. this thing on 3s is a BLAST!!
Also, if I didn’t mention.. u wil need a “adaption plate” to mount the fc.. let me know if the thread didn’t show the stl files.. I can post them or u can contact me and I will print them for u .

Unfortunately I cannot find anything local for the Darwin FC, but did come across the Diatone Mamba F411 AIO 25A Whoop Flight Controller which I can get. (Anyone have any experience with that FC?)

Also looking to pair that with the unify pro 32 nano. Anyone see issues with this pairing?

I'm in the great white north.  Shipping up here is not feasible.  Too costly.  LHS has the Mamba FC in stock and easier for me to ride there to pick it up.

Finally got around to finishing up the repairs. In the never ending pursuit to get our quads to the lightest we can, I for some reason went the other way...   I think I rebuilt the titanic!  

Does she fly?  Yes, like a drunken elephant.  
I saved weight by adding +30grams!
