soldering lugs of ESC

Hallo,
Ich muss mal fragen, wofür die Aussparungen an den Lötfahnen der ESC sind.
Eigentlich bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass dort die Litze eingelegt werden soll, um dann oben und unten verlötet zu werden.
Allerdings kommt es auf diese Weise zum Kurzschluss zwischen Plus und Minuspol.
Offenbar sind die in den Leiterplatten eingearbeiteten Leiterbahnen zwischen den Polen nicht getrennt.
Da mir das schon beim zweiten ESC passiert ist, muss ich jetzt mal fragen wie bzw. wo die Litzen genau angelötet werden sollen.
Es handelt sich hier einmal um den SpeedyBee F405 BLS 50A 30x30 4-in-1 Regler
und einmal um den SpeedyBee 35A BLHeli_S Mini 4-in-1 Regler

I have to ask what the cutouts on the soldering lugs of the ESC are for.
Actually, I assumed that the stranded wire should be inserted there and then soldered up and down.
However, this leads to a short circuit between the plus and minus pole.
Apparently, the conductor tracks incorporated into the printed circuit boards are not separated between the poles.
Since this happened to me with the second ESC, I have to ask how and where exactly the strands should be soldered.
This is the SpeedyBee F405 BLS 50A 30x30 4-in-1 controller
and once around the SpeedyBee 35A BLHeli_S Mini 4-in-1 ESC.

Looking at the image above, using motor number 2:
The 3 red lines would correspond to the 3 motor wires.

The cutouts between the pads are to keep them from shorting to each other. Because this board does not have indents on those pads, it will be easiest to solder the wires horizontal to the board.

For the main power wires, you can position your wires vertical on the indents in the individual positive and negative pad, or lay them horizontally like the motor wiring.

The two small holes in the main power pads are to make it easier to connect your capacitor.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

FYI

The cutout on the pad is to fit motor wire.. either vertically or horizontally.

For tiny 2-3" quads, doesnt matter how you solder wires.. current is 5A or lower.

The hardest to solder is ESC GND (-). Its huge copper mass. You need 60W+ iron, 400C+, and LOTS flux.
