SpeedyBee F7 ESC Question...
#1
Exclamation
Putting my SB F7V3/50aESC onto my New 8 inch Frame...

Can I install my ESC UpSide Down without causing any BS while Configuring etc. ?

In the past I installed my FC Backwards and had to revamp my angle of installation. I have these 12 GA wires already soldered facing the bottom of the ESC.  Previous build worked out really slick soldering the wires this way to an XC-90 Female Connector, coming up through the Top Hat of my 7 inch set-up...

"I was just curious if installing the ESC upside down would screw up any Telementrey"....

Thanks..

And Yes I placed a piece of straight wire from a paperclip, along side of each wire, and shrink wrapped both sections, so the stress of bending wouldn't be on the thin solder pads, and rest with-in the wire itself.
Maybe not a "Traditional Idea", But in my mind, Its a "Balanced" Bend, and takes the stress off of the ESC pads.
I tend to make things more so, permanent.. Rather than Slop and Fly.. No DisRespect Intended"...

Yes, you can orientate the ESC any way you choose. You will just need to (re)map and set each motor direction accordingly.

Keep in mind that the latest version of BF configurator make it very easy to remap motors. It is an interactive wizard that just asks you to confirm which motor is spinning and it does all the cli commands itself.
