We do not use filters on this site. It was mentioned to you nicely earlier to cut out the f-bombs. We self-censor here. If you are too inconsiderate to do that, please move along to another web site where that is acceptable. Last warning!

31 Unfortunately while I tend to disagree with profanity bans, and blame them as the reason why the words cause as much harm as they do, I feel like it is an easy rule to follow at least for the F-word... Admittedly I have poked my share of profanity through on this site for the sake of it's value, which is to add a casual conversation emphasis to a situation. The trick, so that you don't have to stop participating, is to not talk like a wild-westerner in your English style (I can say that because I grew up in the desert west of the USA)...
I am not sure which English speakers you are likely to converse with outside of this forum but I can tell you that a more discretionary use of foul language can make it almost seem as if you didn't curse at all in some cases...
At the risk of digressing again... (I do that a lot and really already have)... If you use the F-word in a very emotional sense to add emphasis that something is incredible (in the actual sense of the word) then it really adds gravitas to a statement... however if you add an F-word into a random statement just to show that you are upset it can feel like you're not showing restraint and as a result it feels disrespectful. This is as if saying we're not worthy of the restraint required to avoid the foul language.
I personally would be happy to continue working with you on this problem as best as I can (although I probably only have maybe a tiny bit more experience than you have at this point) but our community standards really reflect some of the cultural standards that typical English speakers expect is all. I am in no way offended myself but I would defend those here on this website whom are offended.
