Hello I am looking to build my first 250 size quad copter I have been doing a lot of research but I am still in need of help if anyone could please tell me if this kit is a good kit and is worth it. Or if they could point me in the right direction for a first build

- The frame is okay, but quite old. I would probably go for something that is a bit lighter.

- The ESCs are good, but again, quite old. They run "only" blheli and officially not able to run faster protocols than oneshot125. The new hype these days are DShot, but then you would need newer ESCs that run BLHeli_S.
EDIT: I just noticed that they updated the ESCs to littlebee with BLHeli_S support.

- The 1806 motors are not as powerful as the 2205 and 2206 most people use these days on a 5" quad.

- I dont know much about that camera, but I would rather find a kit which comes with a HS1177, runcam swift or similar and use a gopro 2.5mm lens instead of the 3.6mm lens on that camera. It doesn't look like you can tilt the camera either which you would probably like to do once you get better at flying.

From the look of it, I would probably put in a little bit more and get this one instead:

These are just my thoughts, and there are probably better kits out there. This was just one that IMO is better.

If you like to build something from scratch, they have a pretty good deal on a Realacc X210 V+ or Pro with racerstar components on banggood that is not too bad

Is going with a 210 better then a 250?
I'm brand new at this and no very little. I just do t want to end up wasting money on a crap build. So that's why I'm trying to get as much help as possible.

210, 220, 250. It doesn't really matter as you can get both crap and gold on either.


I have some friends that got the martian 2 frame which they like very much. Here is both the 220 and 250 version. I guess you can put 6" props on the 250 if you want to. one of my friends also bought the frame from banggood, but it was not quite the same, and he is more happy with the frame from ebay:

The martian frame with the long, thin slots over the camera (for mounting a gopro) is the frame my friend was mostly happy with. If you do a search, you will probably find the same frame, which has a slightly different design, with different slots over the camera.

I like the Martian 250. Is that pdb any good that comes with it? Also what's a decent 20amp and motor? I want to be able to run 3-4s battery

I've found that when starting out, a 250 size is a little more stable and easier to fly than a 210-220 size, but with the extra weight, they don't handle crashes as well.

Yea that's what I think I'm going to start off with is a 250. Just trying to gather a build list. But I'm having trouble finding decent stuff as I don't know what decent stuff is lol

Shouldn't be much difference between a 250 and a 210. The only component that actually do any stabilising is the flight controller

it is more question do you want to fly on 5" 6" or 4" ?

I'm leaning more towards 5. So I was thinking to start off on a 250. And eventually if I wanted to go to a 220 or possibly 210. Next question is. I'm having a hard time finding a good pdb. Any help would be awesome

I've  got a Quadrevo OSD Pro 2.  smart OSD so no setup, it just works.  Also have the BrainFPB mPB which is very good quality.

Are you flying 250 or 210??? I'm having a hard time figuring out what to get what would you recommend for a beginner?

Hello, It's good idea to a fpv 250 package , which is including a lot of parts, if you have enought budget, you can choose these parts as below:
