Yes, you can use a VNA to measure an antenna, but the VNA is not being used properly in the photo you linked. You need to first calibrate the VNA using some known standards (open, short, 50 ohm load), and then look at SWR and return loss. Note that these aren't the only parameters that determine antenna performance, but it's all you can measure easily with a VNA. |
