MANGO AIO OMNIBUS F3 FC W/ PDB
#1
Hello friends!

I'm a sucker for cheap "obsolete" electronics for kwads lol. So if I was to find a deal like a MANGO AIO OMNIBUS F3 FC W/ PDB for $20 I'm on it. Problem is many times these boards do not come with instructions and they might be so old there is no info anywhere to be found with a google search and believe me I searched.

Looks like a great aio, even has osd, was gonna put it on a light build with some dys 1804 2300 kv motors on a spaceone fpv aurora 5" frame if I can figure out how to use this thing.

Does anyone know anything about these boards?

Thanx in advance,
Doug:

Here is the pinout for the Mango AIO Omnibus F3 FC & PDB. So that should be enough to get you started Smile It would also be really helpful for others who may have the same FC / PDB if you could run the "dump" and "diff all" commands in the CLI and post them back here for future reference.

The images are embedded into the post. You shouldn't need to click on anything. They are right there in the body of the post.

Are you trying to view the forum from a work computer / device? If so then maybe access to imgur images is blocked via your corporate web proxy / firewall.

If you still can't see them on your computer when you get home then let me know and I'll try and find somewhere else to host them, or I'll zip them up and post the zip file.

Strangely enough I switched to opera mini and the images were there. Yep that's the instructions I was looking for, thanks again.

Just keep in mind that official Betaflight support for F3 FC's was dropped after Betaflight 4.0.6 due to lack of NVRAM flash memory space on the MCU for newer versions, so you won't be able to run that board on the very latest versions of Betaflight.

The latest (non-official) Betaflight version that you'll be able to run on that FC is Betaflight 4.1.1 EA3 Performance Edition for F3 boards which was forked and created by Joe Lucid (who is one of the official Betaflight devs). That version has a specific target per receiver protocol that you are using in order to maximise the number of other Betaflight features that can be included for the limited NVRAM space available in the F3 MCU flash memory. So once the Performance Edition firmware has been flashed to the FC you won't be able to change the receiver protocol in Betaflight Configurator to something else. The option to do so will still be there but it just won't do anything unless you select the same protocol as the firmware target was compiled for. See the link below for the Performance Edition firmware HEX files...

Oh man that's awesome I'll check it out!

Yep I knew bf didn't support f3s anymore but cleanflight still does. I'm actually using 2 spracing f3s and a naze f3, all on cf 2.5. Works as good as bf 3.5 imo but will def check into the bf f3 by Joe Lucid, I appreciate it bro.
