I bet that is just Banggood taking people's as many people's pre-order money into their bank account as they can before they even bother to place an order with ImmersionRC, by which time they will be at the back of the queue behind all the other vendors who already placed their orders. It's one reason not to pre-order anything from Banggood unless you're prepared to wait a very long time.

Every pre-order I ever made with Banggood in the past (excluding my current dispute with them which wasn't even a pre-order) always took months before I actually got what I paid for - Eachine Trashcan, GEPRC Phantom, Hawkeye Firefly Micro Camera to name but a few.

I don't think all retailers are getting their shipments delayed? nextfpv has stock

Hmmm just noticed the micro Immortal T ... I suspect that means you may not get the same performance using the old school 2.4 whisker antennas? To me, that would be such a major draw for this system - the effortless antennas.

The Radio Remote Control system is the new Immersion Ghost 2.4 Ghz which uses the smaller antenna. He is running it at 350mW. I am pretty impressed with that run and the distance he got with the new Immersion "Ghost" system; it is looking better and better all the time.

Interesting build. Quite similar to the Katana-LR5x except that he used a different frame and smaller motors (Yeah, and the Remote Control system). Overall, the build specs are really pretty close. 

Looks like I need to swap out those big 2203's for smaller motors...and...strap on my 4s 18650 pack   

Even though it is billed as "5" ultralight drone long range..." and might be with a smaller battery, 
the AUW with that 4s 18650 pack that he is running is likely over 300 grams.

Upon further research, that frame is the Dave_C FPV Gatehunter X frame. 

Next thing you know, Flywoo will be coming out with a light weight 5 inch long range... maybe the Super Explorer  
...complete with Dave_C branded Flywoo 1507 motors

damn, someone asked about ghost shipment in the Pyrodrone FB group, and looks like there's another delay... this is why i hate pre-ordering something i really want/need because then i start obsessing/worrying over it when i have plenty of other stuff i should be paying attention too

I am giving some serious thought    about buying into the Ghost movement.  

since i'm relatively new to fpv flying, and never did any long range flying, i haven't invested in crossfire yet, so i figured why not go ahead and try it out. i had ordered my tx16s along with the ghost so i've been using my old futaba t8j for the last couple of months. at this point i feel like a kid on christmas eve

Ghost is probably be considered mid-range. But let us know how things goes with it. Sounds like you will not be disappointed.

Let us know what you think, everything from setting things up to flying and range!
I think that even if Ghost might not be "true long range" it will be enough for 99% of the fpv community


I have the R9 lite and even if it works ok I am sick of it and want to upgrade to Ghost or the new Crossfire nano module. Really like the smaller antenna on the Ghost, no more chopped antennas 

I think if I wasn't already invested into Crossfire I would probably jump on the ImmersionRC Ghost bandwagon as well. I don't even fly medium range, let alone long range.

It's going to be great once we see some reviews other than JB's one start to appear. Speaking of which he released the following Ghost Setup Guide video yesterday for anyone wanting to get a bit of a head start...
