Can you have OSD appear in your saved to SD Card video like fatshark does if you can how do you do it?

And the power cable keeps on disconnecting i am going to have to print something to keep it from disconnecting you pay all this money for a goggle and this is what you get and i wish they made it so it can also be used with the mavic mini too, just in case if you want to fly fpv with the mavic mini.

OSD data is saved to subtitle (SRT) files on the goggles recording, but you only get the basic DJI OSD data saved -> image bitrate, image latency delay, quad LiPo voltage, goggle battery voltage, flight time and goggle signal. That is pretty much it. None of the Betaflight OSD data gets saved anywhere.

The only way currently to get OSD on the video is to log your telemetry data (either locally or to your radio) and use something like this: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthre...r-Software

Yes, the DJI FPV system is frustrating in many aspects. Smile

All this money for a goggle and all you get for OSD are these, wow , if they made it to work with the mavic mini in fpv mode i would dispute very little about it!

Can it work on this DJI Radio?

OpenTX radios can log telemetry which can be used to overlay OSD.

I doubt DJI radios can do this.

Yep. That is DJI's business model. Milk the customer for as much money as they can and then leave them with a half baked product that has missing features and outstanding unfixed bugs. We haven't had a proper firmware update for the standalone FPV System firmware for nearly 18 months. DJI don't care about adding useful features or fixing known bugs which have existed for over 1.5 years. As long as people are still throwing them money for half baked / buggy products then they have no incentive to spend some of their profits on trying to enhance a 2+ year old system.

DJI originally marketed the Air 2S as having "future" compatible with the DJI FPV Goggles V2, but after the release of the Air 2S they then changed their mind and dropped that statement which was no real surprise TBH.

If you want a digital system that is capable of recording OSD to the DVR like analogue does then take a look at Shark Byte / HDZero which does exactly that by using an implementation of Betaflight Canvas Mode.

Nope. There are no programmable or logging features on the DJI Controller. It's an overpriced piece of junk that has less programmable features than a $45 Flysky FS-i6. The only thing that the DJI Controller has going for it is that it's "plug and play" with the standalone DJI FPV System without the need to solder or configure a different RC link system for people who don't want any of that fuss. That is all.
