It's a sh*tty situation, and you are right, BG don't give a f* about their customers but that is the trade off with sale prices, promotions and so on.
BG will continue to sell, and for the most part BG just works worldwide for most of the purchases and most of the customers but unfortunately cases like yours will always exist.
"Premium" service comes at a cost and GB, BG or even Ali are not premium suppliers on that matters.
Just enjoy your goggles and don't get caught on those type of mind bias that come from if this... or if that, and that you are 4 month behind flying HD. 
At the end you have HD FPV on you hands. How great is that? It's perfect, go enjoy it and forget about all this BG nonsense.

You don't want to buy from Banggood.  I received an aircraft that was DOA.  After working with iFlight Support, they told me to send the product back.  Banggood is effectively refusing to take the product back by making me jump through hoop after hoop.  They are not honoring their stated return policy at all:  https://usa-m.banggood.com/return_policy.html

I can gladly report that I haven't given B***g**d a single penny of my money in over 2 years now. The DJI FPV Goggles in this thread were the very last thing I ever bought from them.

I now use local vendors or AliExpress where I can't get a particular product in my own country. I've seen a few items I wanted that only B***g**d stocked and no-one else, but I took the decision to just go without the items rather than handing over any more money to those scumbags.

I have never ordered form Banggood. After reading this thread, I made the decision to
NEVER order form Banggood...No matter what. I wanted an Eachine Tyro79 3 inch frame,
but they were the only ones that stocked it...until recently. I found a different vendor and
ordered it. Everything went fine. I am happy. Now, I just need to find the time to use it
in a build.
