Voltage not updating on transmitter or OSD
#1
Hi everyone. I hope that I could get some assistance through this forum. I am pretty new to all of this so I apologize if I do not describe the issue well. For some reason, my voltage is not updating neither on my transmitter or OSD. It does read a voltage but does not move/update. It reads a fully charged 4s of 16.8v but stays at the voltage throughout the flight. At the end of my flight (3mins or so) I check the battery with a meter and it's about 15.4v. Also, if I plug in a different battery (same brand and mah) that reads at 15.2v on a meter, the quad displays the voltage I calibrated it at which is 16.8v. This is technically my first build but I have built 2 others after this one. My other 2 builds are completely fine and it reads the current voltage of the battery and also depletes real time on the transmitter and OSD. I have tried to look everywhere online but can not seem to find anyone with my problem. The drone flies completely fine but it does not make any sense on why the voltage is not changing.

My setup:
Squirt V2
T-Motor F7 mini stack
T-Motor F1507 3800kv
Crossfire Nano
DJI Air Unit
TX16S

Betaflight 10.7.0

Things I've tried:
Re-flashed the FC to latest firmware
I did have the crossfire on TX1/RX1 but solder it to TX2/RX2 but no difference
Calibrated the 'Power and Battery' tab to match the voltage of the battery at full charge

I would appreciate any advice please and thank you.

Aside from your scale (which I can't confirm) , your settings look all correct. You can try to reflash with full chip erase and see if it is just a bug in the firmware.

Hi, Thanks for replying! so I did try to reflash multiple times and tried different versions. Still the same.. I don't know too much about sensors or anything but could this be a hardware issue? Is there anything else I could take provide like other pictures to possibly help with this? Or different tests? Thank you.

It does seem like a hardware problem. There isn't much to the software settings.

Just a thought, but maybe check in the telemetry tab on your TS16S to make sure it's right. I made the same mistake, and was getting readings from the wrong sensor. Vfas is the reading you want, and "play value" to read it out loud.

I don't think that is it.. but I will check. What doesn't make sense is my other 2 quads reads the value of the battery correctly on my radio and goggles. And I have the all the quads on the same model since I am running crossfire. This was my first build so maybe I rushed it and didn't do something right or maybe it's just a hardware issue. Idk... I am going to fully disassemble it today, rebuild it and take my time before I try a new stack. I will update once I put it back together.

*Update

For anyone having this issue, it was the FC. Not sure what happened to it. Maybe a crash or something but I replaced the FC and now the voltage reads and updates normally. Thanks everyone! Hope this helps anyone out if they have this problem.

I assume that was the case. Thanks for the update.
