JB mentions a method at 5:23 in this video that he knows has been done by other people with a Raspberry Pi.

Join the following Facebook group and you will see another guy called Gregorio Perez who did it using an Orange Pi and an FPGA device. But he ceased continuing with it after seemingly being threatened with legal action by DJI...

Darn.

I did find that group but thought that guy was another "I have it, but won't show it".

I would hope he could post it anonymously "somewhere" and let it proliferate for the community 

I've been working through the APK and looking for the protocols and how it is coming in/out but haven't found the secret sauce yet.

Guess I'll keep digging!

It's super disappointing that ADATR guy bailed on people like this, I was pretty excited to see some real progress. Also, I would not even be opposed to getting something like this: https://store.dji.com/product/phantom-3-...put-module if it were to be offered. I'm guessing the tech behind it is pretty similar.
