Rush tank solo stuck
#1
I’ve finally got around to wiring my Rush Tank Solo and I’ve got the vtx table working.  It required Smart audio 2.1 btw.  But now I cannot get it to get out of pit mode!  I have watched the Gal Kramer video and he just says to hold the button down, but that didnt work.

Anyone have a resolution for this?

If it has variable power levels you might need to ad the power levels in the vtx table.

In the osd, before arming, go to the vtx sa menu and then go to config. In the settings change the value race to free. This will kill pit mode and allow power modes.

I had the problem with my tiny tank vtx. Get the regular smart audio 2.0 vtx table and it will no longer get stuck in pit mode. You will need to manually edit the power levels though.

I’ve turned off the feature in BetaFlight, where its running at 25mW [until first arm] and it has taken it out of permanent pit mode.

In the future, I will work to be able to effectively use smart audio, because I have never been able to use it properly on any Rush vTx. The reason I do like Rush so much is the lock-in feature and how great it works for me!

Thanks for all your help guys

Just got a new Rush Tank Ultimate II and couldn't get out of pit mode, so I got here after a search. I was using a Rush Ultimate Plus previously, and that worked with Smartaudio, but the new one did not.

In the end the solution was to change the vtx power levels in the Video transmitter tab. Instead of 0 1 2 3, you will need the dB version, so use 14 23 27 29, equivalent to 25mW, 200mW, 500mW and 800mW.

Once I had that entered, I could see the power change on OSD, but vtx was still in pit mode (flashing). To get out of pit mode, hold the power button on the vtx for a few seconds and it will revert to your chosen power level.

Low power disarm is working too (sets vtx to 25mW when disarmed).

Good idea

I will try this in the near future.

Hello people, I have a Rush Tank Solo and the out puts are pit/25w/400w/800w and max (which I assume is 1w). What do I put in SA 2.1 (USA) for the dB equivalent of these Watts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can find the VTX tables in this thread: https://intofpv.com/t-rush-tank-solo-rush-tank-ultimate

OMG you just made my day! I actually registered to the forum to thank you!! This solved my Rush Tank Ultimate II problem where it got stuck on 25mW and betaflight wasn't able to change it.

Thank you!
