Right now life and my wife have superseded my FPV with more pressing issues. I don't have time to build or fly. However... I want one of those frames. Man, I haven't even got the Bobcat built and I'm already wanting your frame. When you get set up to market this thing, be sure to let me know. Since I am not building right now, I am happy to wait until you get a final version and the marketing side set up. I do NOT want to just order it from a CNC shop, ... I want to buy it from YOU. Thanks Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 Thank you iFly. The fam here at intoFPV will be the first to know for sure. I really need to find a good CF cutter though in China. I bet with EMS express shipping, the turnaround and price will be lower than here. I'm putting some effort to hunting one down for now because it's crazy you go nuts designing and send it out and ... wait. wait. wait. Can't work like this lol it literally drives me up the wall. Hey man I hope your own fam is good. I'm sure your constant positivity and outlook will get you through it iFly. • Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 Alright I just carpet bombed nearly a dozen inquiries to various China-based CNC shops that stock and cut carbon fiber to see what this whole thing would look like taking it overseas. I shared the old version of this frame design for a reliable quote so I'm going to laugh if I see it on Banggood. In your queries to each vendor, the design would have a slight difference. Once the counterfeit item appeared for sale at banggood you would know which vendor leaked, lol... Do you have a BOM for the M2 screw parts that would accompany this frame mate? I am *still* waiting to here back to get a quote on what I'm hoping will be the final version. Hardware for this: x6 M2 knurled aluminum standoffs 20mm x12 M2 button head screws 6mm x6 M2.5 press nuts x6 M2.5 socket head screws 8mm (6mm if not using the brace plate) I plan to rely on McMasters for the M2.5 press nuts and socket heads. But I don't like their button heads which have a 1.3mm hex. I found another source for the more traditional M2 button heads with 1.5mm hex. Still looking for a cheap volume source for the knurled aluminum standoffs (currently buying clearance stock from some fpv shop lol). Holy crap guys. Its 2.30 am local time and ive been bouncing emails with various CNC shops in China. I think i finally found one that works for me. I may actually be able to sell this thing afterall lol. But man now i see why folks keep overseas suppliers close to their chest. Whew lotta work lol. I'll have the final version of the Ronin Mk1 and the first draft of the Shinobi Mk1 possibly by the end of next week for half the price and twice the speed I would've spent otherwise lol.
