0 I am curious if there are any implications doing this. What I plan on doing is running the antenna wires along the edge of a 4mm arm on x frame using an x4rsb so I have 2 antenna to work with. The antenna will be on opposite sides of the quad so they will still be in a perpendicular orientation. I know that it will affect reception, but the question is, how much?

30 So long as the exposed silver tip parts of the antenna is not actually touching the frame you should be ok, I have done that with a couple of my quads and yet I have had no problems, sure does save them from being eaten by the props in a crash.

0 Awesome. Thanks. Was going to put the antenna into a coffee stirrer to protect and act as an insulator.
