Good Morning.
So following Oscar's info here: https://oscarliang.com/parallel-charging...rge-leads/ i went ahead and created one of these cables and it seems to work fine.
I just wanted to be clear on one point though. When usually parallel charging say 4 batteries, i would add all their MAH together, then divide by 1000 to get the amount of amps i was going to charge at.
For example:
4 X 4S 1500mah Batteries
4 X 1500 = 6000
6000/1000 = 6 amps
When using the method Oscar posted about, so only charging through the balance cables is it safe to use the same maths? I appreciate you would want to keep the amps down as you are using a small cable to pass the current to the balance cable, but i am only charging 300mah 2S batteries. So can i assume charging 5 of these at once i could charge at 1.5 amps?
Hopefully this makes sense?
