With tx seems it just won't hit max rpm to lift off. Changed props, larger batt. So I am curios how. This turns out as it is getting frustrating. • Posts: 1,773 Threads: 30 Likes Received: 1,199 in 755 posts Likes Given: 714 Joined: Oct 2016 Reputation: 45 (18-May-2018, 04:53 PM)Gary pug master Wrote: I am having the same problem, checked all solder joints, calibration, motor rotation, motor speed, motor equal speed. Have you set your throttle endpoints correctly (1000/2000) in Betaflight receiver tab? • Posts: 185 Threads: 53 Likes Received: 52 in 27 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 1 18-May-2018, 06:39 PM (This post was last modified: 18-May-2018, 06:40 PM by JD Quad Jammer.) Last night I even held in my hand and rotated it and no real thrust at full throttle • Posts: 12,098 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 Can you guys take a blackbox log of the quad trying to take off? • Posts: 185 Threads: 53 Likes Received: 52 in 27 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 1 (18-May-2018, 07:37 PM)voodoo614 Wrote: Can you guys take a blackbox log of the quad trying to take off? never messed with "BLACKBOX" • Posts: 123 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 25 in 23 posts Likes Given: 33 Joined: Jan 2018 Reputation: 0 I will get the file later to night and post • Posts: 123 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 25 in 23 posts Likes Given: 33 Joined: Jan 2018 Reputation: 0 Renov8r this is the drone I had the naze32 problem with and changed the fc, I lost the feed to motor #2 I believe and rather than remap I replaced. But I have flown this one. • Posts: 123 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 25 in 23 posts Likes Given: 33 Joined: Jan 2018 Reputation: 0 Only other change is xm+ rx and set up on qx7 tx, but I did hover test • Posts: 123 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 25 in 23 posts Likes Given: 33 Joined: Jan 2018 Reputation: 0 JD what rx. And tx are you using? And do you know what make of fc you have, I am using a hobby wing. I am wondering if it could be one of the components that we are using. • Posts: 185 Threads: 53 Likes Received: 52 in 27 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 1 (18-May-2018, 08:21 PM)Gary pug master Wrote: JD what rx. POWERCUBE Tx, Frsky Xr4-Sb Rx, the powercube runs COLIBI-RACE and this was flying great till Wed...... • Posts: 185 Threads: 53 Likes Received: 52 in 27 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 1 19-May-2018, 12:28 AM (This post was last modified: 19-May-2018, 12:31 AM by JD Quad Jammer.) well i did the worst and just completely reflashed the board, ( which there was a new update anyway), colibri race 3-3-0 .. re calibrated the ESC's .. and still the same... taking a closer look on trying to takeoff motor #4 drops out and you can see the prop spinning slower preventing lift-off..... also noticed that in the TELEMETRY screen on the Transmitter i have lost VFAS and A4 voltage readings..... everything else is there, and even after " DISCOVERING NEW SENSORS" im starting to HATE the powercube..... • Posts: 123 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 25 in 23 posts Likes Given: 33 Joined: Jan 2018 Reputation: 0 well like you JD I went back to review my ver on fc, and it is out of date. I thought first I will recheck blheli on my esc and see what they are set at. as I thought they are rock solid 1068 - 1997, but motors really didn't ramp to a smooth spin until 1080 so I reset that and I saw a factory setting that was missing for closed loop mode, factory set is off I had it at something else so back to factory. then I went to betaflight and checked up and down the tabs to make sure all was right with the world. looked at my pid's and in the throttle MID was set at.28 and throttle expo was at .8 idont recall making that change so I pulled up a different drone and looked at settings a they were MID at 1.00 and expo at 0.0. put on props and quick hover test ... up she went. • |
