NO LIFT OFF
#1
well another drone went down!!!  lol   here's for the experienced guys.... 250 quad EMAXX 2204/2300kv motors, powercube.... flying along fine (FAST) heading for a gate and the
drone goes into a YAW spin and goes down..  i thought i hit the gate but after thinking about i wasent close enough to hit it.... i bring it back to the bench,,  replace a prop and try to fly again and the motors rev'd up and the quad flipped over...  thinking it was me .tried it again and quad revs and sits there like the props are on backwards ( but their not)... but i have no lift off !!!!  got it home checked the motors on Betaflight, re calibrated the ESC's, but same thing..  any thoughts guys !!!

First thing I'd do is go into Betaflight motor test and check each motor individually then with master to make sure they're all spinning properly and in the correct direction, then if they're all calibrated and spinning at the same speed.

I am having the same problem, checked all solder joints, calibration, motor rotation, motor speed, motor equal speed. With tx seems it just won't hit max rpm to lift off. Changed props, larger batt. So I am curios how. This turns out as it is getting frustrating.

Have you set your throttle endpoints correctly (1000/2000) in Betaflight receiver tab?

end points are set.... and ive been flying this quad for 3 months now .  i did check in betaflight and all motors are spinning correctly and i recalibrated..but like gary pug master said  it just dosent seem they are going to full max rpm.  sounds like it on the bench.  but put a prop on it and NO FLY.....  shit......

I did same, on bench they ramp up but with props they just seem less. Last night I even held in my hand and rotated it and no real thrust at full throttle

Renov8r this is the drone I had the naze32 problem with and changed the fc, I lost the feed to motor #2 I believe and rather than remap I replaced. But I have flown this one.

Only other change is xm+ rx and set up on qx7 tx, but I did hover test

JD what rx. And tx are you using? And do you know what make of fc you have, I am using a hobby wing. I am wondering if it could be one of the components that we are using.

POWERCUBE Tx, Frsky Xr4-Sb Rx, the powercube runs COLIBI-RACE and this was flying great till Wed......  Thinking

well i did the worst and just completely reflashed the board, ( which there was a new update anyway), colibri race 3-3-0 .. re calibrated the ESC's .. and still the same... taking a closer look on trying to takeoff motor #4 drops out and you can see the prop spinning slower preventing lift-off..... also noticed that in the TELEMETRY screen
on the Transmitter i have lost VFAS and A4 voltage readings..... everything else is there,  and even after " DISCOVERING NEW SENSORS"   im starting to HATE the powercube.....

well like you JD I went back to review my ver on fc, and it is out of date. I thought first I will recheck blheli on my esc and see what they are set at. as I thought they are rock solid 1068 - 1997, but motors really didn't ramp to a smooth spin until 1080 so I reset that and I saw a factory setting that was missing for closed loop mode, factory set is off I had it at something else so back to factory. then I went to betaflight and checked up and down the tabs to make sure all was right with the world. looked at my pid's and in the throttle MID was set at.28 and throttle expo was at .8 idont recall making that change so I pulled up a different drone and looked at settings a they were MID at 1.00 and expo at 0.0. put on props and quick hover test ... up she went.
