I'm not sure about a main power switch, but I think they have an on/off switch for the sweeping LED arrays on the front  Big Grin

I’m ready to get my Knight Rider groove on. I’m really hoping for an analog bay.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

My musings are such:

They will focus on race mode, with a 120Hz refresh rate and break the 20ms latency barrier.

The big news will be the programable leds on the front.

There I called it..

Thumbs Up

If they end up offering a comfortable goggle that does analog well, I could see moving to them. The lack of inputs and many reports of uncomfortable fit have been keeping me on their VRX. It's just really heavy to put that sucker on the front of a set of goggles. Been thinking about just setting up a little tripod or neck strap with the module mounted on there, then run a longer HDMI cable.

They also need a proper anti-fogging solution on the new goggles. The FatShark Dominator HD / Walksnail Avatar HD goggles get slated for their poor anti-fogging capabilities. Mads Tech designed his own custom mod to try and improve things, but he said even with that he still sometimes gets fogged up lenses.

I use VRX on my Skyzone 04O without any problems. But for me it would be more convenient if analog and digital video were in one device.

.. other than the obvious, what do the goggles offer that the vrx does not on a good pair of goggles (hdo2, orqa, ect.). HDzero / sharkbyte vrx won’t do the 90fps if memory serves me…

The 100hz refresh rate.

Compared to G2 fitment the WS goggles are a dream
Some months ago I also thought analog is something that is needed, but I will never fly analog again :-D :-D

Fingers crossed for some sort of analog option. Looking for a non-box analog solution for my few remaining non-WS quads.
Now that I can tell the extreme latency of the FatShark Scouts. Being far-sighted the Scouts allowed cheater glasses nicely though.
The current Avatar HD Goggles have enough optic support so I can actually see without the glasses Smile
If all of these worlds could somehow be combined into one ... analog, digital, no-glasses, oh please - take my money!

Ian (Mads Tech) has already hinted on his recent live streams that he has a pair which he's been testing and he said on Sunday that he would be dropping a video for a new Walksnail product later this week. I guess all the other mainstream FPV YouTubers probably also have a pair and will all be publishing their videos tomorrow too. So prepare for an influx of reviews to all drop at the same time once the NDA embargo is lifted.
