happy to join this community, I am sure to find a lot of info here, and hope to support others after some time...  
I am supporting my 13yo son in his FPV-hobby, our experience in total: 
- a few months with BetaFPV Cetus Kit (tinywhoop for beginners),
- a few months with Liftoff simulator 
Recently we leveled up by buying the 2nd hand set: 4" frame, FC: F722 Zeus Mini, ESC: Zeus 45a, RX: R-XSR - unfortunately we can't get it in the air....  

So, we begin our adventure

For you latest quad:
- What radio transmitter are you using?
- Did you manage to bind the receiver with the transmitter?
- Does Betaflight report any errors?
- Takes the props off and see if you are able to spin the motors via Betaflight.
- Are the motor directions and prop directions correct?
- Do you see the stick movement in the Betaflight Configurator > Receiver tab?
- Do you have the Arm switch set properly in the Betaflight Modes tab?

A few additional details on why you are unable to take off will give us something to focus on.
