0 I bought a Cetus X kit without realizing the goggles wouldn't fit over my glasses.
I can use them to fly but I can't read the on-screen text.
I can sell them online, that shouldn't be a problem.
But what goggles should I buy instead?
Criteria:
- compatible with BetaFPV Cetus X.
- adjustable vision, or fits over eyewear.
- as few other features as possible (lowest cost), although I will consider anything that's available.

19 As an interim, consider buying some lens sold for head worn work magnifiers, there are good cheap ones around on EBay, sold as a head housing with several different strength mag lens, and fit these into the headset housing.
Or extend the distance between the headset screen and any fresnel or other lens it might have already
Have over many years done either/both of these mods a number of times to headsets.

97 25-Feb-2023, 02:28 PM (This post was last modified: 25-Feb-2023, 02:28 PM by iFly4rotors.) I have a set of FXT Viper V2 goggles and love them. Any eyeglasses will fit and
they are comfortable. These are my daily use goggles.
I also have a set of Eachine EV800D goggles which I use on some occasions,
but my eyeglasses are harder to fit inside them. I bought a set of thin wire rim
glasses that can be shoe horned in, but they do work.
Box goggles tend to be better than binocular type goggles.

0 It looks like everyone that used to sell FXT Viper V2 goggles online are now listing them as unavailable, and FTX doesn't mention any goggles on their website.

5 The Skyzone Cobra line is a good choice too. They'll fit glasses, probably not big frames though.
In terms of box goggles, they are one of if not the best around currently.

43 27-Feb-2023, 01:18 PM (This post was last modified: 27-Feb-2023, 01:20 PM by Pathfinder075.) As said on other threads, by myself and others. Dollar shop reading glasses. Chop the arms off them, bend the bridge a bit and slide them into the VR02/VR03 screen area with some blue tack to hold them in place. I have a picture on another thread somewhere. Let me look.
I still use them this way, but now have the VR03 (with DVR), with much the same arrangement in them. The downside is they fog up pretty easily.
If it is some very specific prescription it could be costly, but mine use +2.5 reading glasses that cost me $2 / £1.50 at a bargain store.
