It seems to nearly alway happens that after all the reviews and feedback a "V2" will inevitably appear. All the V1 users were just the beta testers for the "final" V2 product. • Posts: 70 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 25 in 22 posts Likes Given: 2 Joined: Nov 2020 Reputation: 1 The product listings are all over the place, some come with f411. Pump out as many new models as you can as quick as you can. Wrong FC processor? No worries since we'll be putting out a new model next week anyway LOL wow. • Posts: 1,507 Threads: 98 Likes Received: 577 in 470 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Nov 2020 Reputation: 27 Why complain about new model? Its been half a year.. why not? The GPS and FC improvements are pretty big. If you have V1, Im sure Flywoo will sell you GPS and FC seperately. • Posts: 3,288 Threads: 129 Likes Received: 2,740 in 1,644 posts Likes Given: 2,969 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 65 You can buy the 16x16 F745 stack that looks to be the upgrade stack they are referencing, should you feel the need. I am sure the 20x20 stack is also available and the bottom plate is machined to accept either 16 or 20 mm boards. I just bought a V1 Analog, being comfortable with the older tech similar to Dave's selection in his original efforts that led to this offering. The upgrades might be nice, but they are not required for this craft's intended purpose. The smallish VTX is sort of a bummer, but that is easily changed for a better VTX. Yes, ordered a V1 with Crossfire. SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! However, the v1 is pretty sweet and I'm very happy with mine. I'm gonna fly it until I lose it in a tree or failsafe it in some cliff or mountain where I can't find it. I won't consider a v2 until then. • Posts: 5,967 Threads: 47 Likes Received: 2,798 in 2,259 posts Likes Given: 7,778 Joined: Jul 2019 Reputation: 97 (03-Jan-2021, 11:36 PM)kaitylynn Wrote: Hello Harry! It will be nice to get your opinion of this class of quads. Given the new FAA regulations, I believe the 4 inch will end up being the "sweet spot" for those who want to stay out of the registration and Remote ID mess. Congratulations. When I went to source the frame through CNC Madness I discovered that it is the basis for the Explorer and it was cheaper to buy the Flywoo than then built it myself. Right now I just want something small that can just cruise around. This seemed like as good a choice as any SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! If I hadn't already built a couple of 4 inchers, I would have just bought one myself. Even though I like building, I would buy a pre-built if it saved me some money. My V2 frame kit got shipped today and I decided to build it myself with components of my choice. I also prefer the 20x20 stacks over the 16x16 versions for reliability and easy to work with solder pads. On the Explorer LR V1 the stand-off’s only have a 32mm spacing which makes it tough finding the perfect fit for most 20x20 4in1 ESC’s (unless i grind off some clearance in the stand-off’s or see if there is a bit more space in the back). No idea if this is any better on the V2 frame (or worse). I am still running analog fpv, and the analog bnf version of the V2 only comes with an F411 FC, a 13amp BLheli_s ESC, a 600mw vtx and I did not like the camera. Just my excuse for another diy build as the only bnf I have ever bought is the Mobula6 • Posts: 190 Threads: 35 Likes Received: 39 in 30 posts Likes Given: 88 Joined: Oct 2020 Reputation: 2 I'm considering the v1 (because price has dropped) but with the tarsier v2 and crossfire. Am i right in thinking the GPS issues are only present with those with the Vista HD unit?
