Moving models over to it was a matter of plugging in the t16 to the pc. Clicking read models then plugging in the t-lite and clicking write models. The videos make this much more complicated then they need to. If you have a card reader pull the sd card and delete it. Download the new sd card contents to it. Add the radio firmware to the firmware folder. With the sd card re-installed hold the two trims while powering up. Then follow the directions on the screen, write firmware, select the firmware (if you have more than 1) press ok. Done. Elrs is less complicated than frsky with happymodel gear. Probably less complicated to swap frsky gear over to Elrs than deal with inverted half duplex etc. Download the Elrs confogurator and you'll see it has all of 6 drop down options and a build and flash button. The days of doing it through vscode and modifying script have already past. Thank You for explaining it this way. Much appreciated. • Posts: 359 Threads: 14 Likes Received: 163 in 126 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Jul 2020 Reputation: 12 No problem. I just went through this last night with a happymodel 2.4 rx/tx that I just purchased. I watched about 2 hours of tutorials first but it only took about 1/2 hour lol. The opentx tutorials are not first time friendly. Opentx companion is very handy when you learn to use it but that should be another video for people that have it installed and want to learn more. Much like teaching pid tuning to a first time flyer, why put that on them right away. • Posts: 909 Threads: 59 Likes Received: 543 in 318 posts Likes Given: 730 Joined: Nov 2018 Reputation: 26 Posts: 909 Threads: 59 Likes Received: 543 in 318 posts Likes Given: 730 Joined: Nov 2018 Reputation: 26 sorry guys I missed a couple of releases. Based on the parts required at their github page you need about $20 worth of parts and a printed case to cobble together an ELRS TX module.
