So I bought a pair of v2 goggles off ebay. Ever since I powered them on they connect to the drone fine and everything but every 30 seconds they go black. What would be causing this? Do I just need to get the motherboard replaced by DJI?

Are your DJI FPV Goggles V2 rooted with WTFOS installed? If they are then make sure you have the latest version of WTFOS installed on them along with up-to-date WTFOS packages. There was a recent update to the msp-osd package to fix potential reboot / black screen issues, so it's possible that is what you're experiencing. You will also need to make sure that any rooted Air Units also have the latest version of WTFOS and up-to-date packages installed on them.
