DJI Goggles Integral & RC Motion 2 Controller
#1
DJI will be releasing the DJI Goggles Integra in the second quarter of 2023 along with the RC Motion 2 Controller. The goggles are essentially a new incrementation of the Goggles 2 with an integrated battery, integrated storage, and some other minor changes. There are no other details yet. Just the leaked images below.

Will be interesting to see if there's any other features that are different from the goggles 2. I see there's diopter lenses next to the goggles?

Well if you look at the underside of the DJI Goggles Integral in the first photo there are only IPD sliders and no adjustable diopter focus knobs, so these new goggles will require physical diopter inserts to be used if you don't have 20/20 vision.

A few other things to take note of:
  • There is no touch pad on the right-hand side but instead there is a 5-way joystick on the top like the original DJI FPV Goggles V1 & V2. You can see that in the second photo on the right-hand side peeking out from the folded down antenna.
  • The micro SD Card slot and the 3.5mm audio socket on the bottom right of the goggles is missing. Maybe they have no audio capabilities and only have built in storage, or no ability to record on the goggles at all. I would also hazard a guess that the DLNA streaming is also probably missing as well, especially if there is no longer an audio output socket.
  • There is a larger hump on top of the goggles in the centre with a slot in for an over-the-head strap to help counter-balance the weight of the battery inside that housing on the back of the strap. This extended hump / strap slot doesn't exist on the DJI Goggles 2.
  • It's possible that LCD screens have been used in these goggles rather than OLED screens but no-one knows yet. If DJI want to get the price down then LCD screens will probably be the only real way of taking a big chunk out of the current price of the DJI Goggles 2

Here is Ian's hands-on review of the DJI Goggles Integra. One thing to note is that unlike with the DJI Goggles 2, the fold down antennas on the Intrgra goggles are NOT removeable so there will be no option for installing some different / better antennas (unless you want to start hacking up a $500 pair of goggles). You will therefore be stuck with whatever DJI have provided. Overall, with that and the built in battery these aren't very mod friendly and it seems that DJI are trying to provide a non-modular out-of-the box experience for normal run-of-the-mill consumer type users.
