I wouldn't worry. Both the iFlight CRYSTAL and the Lumenier AXII HD are pretty well matched so either are a good choice. The CRYSTAL just has a more of a "factory" look to it. From the test below the AXII HD had very slightly better performance. Fast forward to 4:00 to skip all the gumph and go straight to the flights... • Posts: 101 Threads: 22 Likes Received: 4 in 4 posts Likes Given: 2 Joined: Oct 2020 Reputation: 0 Well, waiting two weeks for an order is two weeks too long. I'm willing to pay a couple of dollars more to get it in a few days in the USA. One of the online fpv stores are local, they price match, and I can even pickup same day at their warehouse if I'm in a big hurry. • Posts: 21,414 Threads: 595 Likes Received: 9,037 in 6,688 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 796 (29-Nov-2020, 07:31 AM)NoDoze Wrote: Well, waiting two weeks for an order is two weeks too long. Yes, you guys in the US are really lucky that you can just walk into a hobby shop or order pretty much any FPV gear you want form an online seller in the US for next day delivery. Unfortunately a lot of us in the rest of the world don't have walk-in local hobby shops and I often find the local online vendors here either don't have stock of what I need at all or they are out of stock of some products for weeks/months on ends, so I sometimes have no other choice but to buy direct from China with a 2-4 week delivery time. • Posts: 1,435 Threads: 123 Likes Received: 1,440 in 748 posts Likes Given: 1,146 Joined: Jun 2019 Reputation: 42 (29-Nov-2020, 11:13 AM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: Yes, you guys in the US are really lucky that you can just walk into a hobby shop or order pretty much any FPV gear you want form an online seller in the US for next day delivery. Not a DJI owner but I second this. The US don't know how lucky they are with this stuff. You guys grumble about shipping time yet have no idea what the rest of the world has to put up with. Call it a case of sour grapes but posts like this just don't sit well with me. • Posts: 101 Threads: 22 Likes Received: 4 in 4 posts Likes Given: 2 Joined: Oct 2020 Reputation: 0 Sorry, if you misunderstood, didn't mean to ruffle feathers. I was just addressing "Why would someone wait 2+ weeks AND with a risky transaction with China?" To me that's a double whammy, and will avoid at all costs. But that's just me, my situation, and my share. • Posts: 731 Threads: 20 Likes Received: 490 in 341 posts Likes Given: 420 Joined: Nov 2019 Reputation: 20 08-Dec-2020, 02:03 PM (This post was last modified: 08-Dec-2020, 02:06 PM by jasperfpv.) I finally got mine from IFlight store after 5 weeks. I got a set of their Omni too. They look different from the black ones shown in the first photo and don't sit proud with exposed neck. It was a bit fiddly to install the Crystal Patch RP SMA connectors but luckily I have some TPU rings which makes it easier to grip. Looks nice and more compact for packing. Don't they stay on, then wouldn't that look funny? Or does it have a slot/cut thru so that you can remove them afterwards? I'd be worried the thumb wheels would make it too easy to overturn and make it too tight causing damage. • Posts: 731 Threads: 20 Likes Received: 490 in 341 posts Likes Given: 420 Joined: Nov 2019 Reputation: 20 I just leave them on. I had to cut the thumb wheel down in half as they were too thick which prevented secure connection. Good reminder not to over tighten them. • Posts: 731 Threads: 20 Likes Received: 490 in 341 posts Likes Given: 420 Joined: Nov 2019 Reputation: 20 08-Dec-2020, 11:38 PM (This post was last modified: 08-Dec-2020, 11:42 PM by jasperfpv.) • Posts: 21,414 Threads: 595 Likes Received: 9,037 in 6,688 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 796 14-Dec-2020, 08:03 PM (This post was last modified: 14-Dec-2020, 08:04 PM by SnowLeopardFPV.) I just read that someone on RCG ordered the iFlight CRYSTAL from B**g***d as soon as it was released with a expected shipping date of "November 16, 2020". Almost a month later their order item is still showing a status of "Processing". Screw B**g***d with their fake stock levels and order processing times. I'm glad I stopped using B**g***d and ordered mine from AliExpress instead. • Posts: 14 Threads: 2 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2020 Reputation: 0 14-Dec-2020, 08:50 PM (This post was last modified: 14-Dec-2020, 08:54 PM by druuid.) I thought AliExpress was owned by the same company since their sites look similar and so many promotion stuff is similar but AliExpress seems to be multiple vendors vs BG being one. After my AliExpress order for something else took nearly 2months I thought I'd try BG. Have only ordered one thing from BG and supposedly on it's way so we will see. I just expect them both to take super long anyways so no real expectations being ruined! • Posts: 21,414 Threads: 595 Likes Received: 9,037 in 6,688 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 796 14-Dec-2020, 09:06 PM (This post was last modified: 14-Dec-2020, 09:07 PM by SnowLeopardFPV.) Think of B**g***d like Chinese Amazon without the marketplace (i.e. a single corporate vendor), and think of AliExpress like Chinese eBay with multiple sellers using it as a marketplace. All of my recent AliExpress orders have arrived in 2 weeks or less. All of my B**g***d orders have taken longer than that and cost more than AliExpress. If you want to know why I will never use B**g***d ever again for any purchases, read my story HERE. • Posts: 356 Threads: 70 Likes Received: 55 in 28 posts Likes Given: 31 Joined: Oct 2020 Reputation: 4 14-Dec-2020, 10:20 PM (This post was last modified: 14-Dec-2020, 10:21 PM by Zanna83.) • Posts: 21,414 Threads: 595 Likes Received: 9,037 in 6,688 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 796 (14-Dec-2020, 10:20 PM)Zanna83 Wrote: Can I ask you why do you prefer to wait warmer times to use them ?
