DJI FPV Goggles iFlight CRYSTAL Antennas

I wouldn't worry. Both the iFlight CRYSTAL and the Lumenier AXII HD are pretty well matched so either are a good choice. The CRYSTAL just has a more of a "factory" look to it. From the test below the AXII HD had very slightly better performance. Fast forward to 4:00 to skip all the gumph and go straight to the flights...

Well, waiting two weeks for an order is two weeks too long. I'm willing to pay a couple of dollars more to get it in a few days in the USA. One of the online fpv stores are local, they price match, and I can even pickup same day at their warehouse if I'm in a big hurry.

Yes, you guys in the US are really lucky that you can just walk into a hobby shop or order pretty much any FPV gear you want form an online seller in the US for next day delivery. Unfortunately a lot of us in the rest of the world don't have walk-in local hobby shops and I often find the local online vendors here either don't have stock of what I need at all or they are out of stock of some products for weeks/months on ends, so I sometimes have no other choice but to buy direct from China with a 2-4 week delivery time.

Not a DJI owner but I second this. The US don't know how lucky they are with this stuff. You guys grumble about shipping time yet have no idea what the rest of the world has to put up with. Call it a case of sour grapes but posts like this just don't sit well with me.

Sorry, if you misunderstood, didn't mean to ruffle feathers. I was just addressing "Why would someone wait 2+ weeks AND with a risky transaction with China?" To me that's a double whammy, and will avoid at all costs. But that's just me, my situation, and my share.

I finally got mine from IFlight store after 5 weeks.

I got a set of their Omni too. They look different from the black ones shown in the first photo and don't sit proud with exposed neck.

It was a bit fiddly to install the Crystal Patch RP SMA connectors but luckily I have some TPU rings which makes it easier to grip.

Looks nice and more compact for packing.

Mine also turned up today as well from AliExpress Cool I only got the patch though and not the Omni's because I'll be using TrueRC singularities with it. I think I may also print off some thumbwheels for the SMA connectors. It's not fitted yet but there's no real hurry because they're unlikely to get used until spring next year when the weather here gets warmer and dryer.

@jasperfpv ...How do the thumb wheels work? Don't they stay on, then wouldn't that look funny? Or does it have a slot/cut thru so that you can remove them afterwards? I'd be worried the thumb wheels would make it too easy to overturn and make it too tight causing damage.

I just leave them on. I had to cut the thumb wheel down in half as they were too thick which prevented secure connection. Good reminder not to over tighten them.

You are a man of great patience. I would probably be out there risking it in inclement weather and regret it later. Smile

I just read that someone on RCG ordered the iFlight CRYSTAL from B**g***d as soon as it was released with a expected shipping date of "November 16, 2020". Almost a month later their order item is still showing a status of "Processing". Screw B**g***d with their fake stock levels and order processing times. I'm glad I stopped using B**g***d and ordered mine from AliExpress instead.

I thought AliExpress was owned by the same company since their sites look similar and so many promotion stuff is similar but AliExpress seems to be multiple vendors vs BG being one.

After my AliExpress order for something else took nearly 2months I thought I'd try BG.
Have only ordered one thing from BG and supposedly on it's way so we will see.

I just expect them both to take super long anyways so no real expectations being ruined!  Tongue

Think of B**g***d like Chinese Amazon without the marketplace (i.e. a single corporate vendor), and think of AliExpress like Chinese eBay with multiple sellers using it as a marketplace. All of my recent AliExpress orders have arrived in 2 weeks or less. All of my B**g***d orders have taken longer than that and cost more than AliExpress. If you want to know why I will never use B**g***d ever again for any purchases, read my story HERE.

Hey Snow, i'm waiting mine from Bangood, they should already be in Europe now according to the tracking... I hope so. I bought the carbon ones too.

Can I ask you why do you prefer to wait warmer times to use them ? Could they get damaged by cold or humidity ?

Rather than re-typing what I wrote in another thread I will just post a link to it Smile
