Crossfire RX no longer bound
#1
So I managed to have a flight in the new crossfire system and so far it's great, but i've hit a road block.

After a probably avoidable crash, the nano RX won't communicate with the controller (TX) anymore.

The OSD shows LQ/RSSI flashing 49, there is no telemetry indication on the TX screen of my Q X7 and the boot sequence seems normal. Solid green on the nano RX but it doesnt show up in the tools menu as it used to.

I've tried putting the QX7 into bind mode and the crossfire module flashes green as expected, but nothing comes up from the RX.

The nano bound before the crash but when I bound it the first time, it happened automatically after I put the QX7 into bind mode, which I understand is by design?

How do I re-bind the presumably still functional nano which was previously bound to the same controller/radio?
My Setup: QX7 with CF mod / Flysight FG01 / 4S 1.5Ah /  5" and 7" (in progress)

It should just rebind using the procedure you mention. Try the emergency update procedure instead at the link below. If that fails then it sounds like you have a damaged Nano RX.

How bad was the crash? Usually the RX Nano mounted in the back side or front center of the frame no?
Did you try to reflash the fw again?

I'll give the emergency update a go. The crash was not significant enough to break any arms, props or motors. The FC boots up and everything seems normal. I was trying out the RTH function to make sure it worked before going out into the far unknown. But I'd forgotten I had set the rescue mode to drop instead of RTH.

May have been anywhere from 5-10m height above ground, I can't be sure.

I haven't tried reflashing FW, how would I do that? Plug crossfire micro TX into PC and update that way?

The nano was comfortably placed between the Camera and F7 stack. It still has a solid green led which makes me hope I just need to get it to bind to the micro tx and then I'm home safe.
