Cricket 200 F7: Can't find target in BF
#1
Hello, bought this fc quite a while back and just now have started a new build. My problem is that I can find the target in BF but can't find the hex file to update. Kinda stuck at this point Anyone with any suggestions how to update?

It looks like NewBeeDrone have created a custom build of Betaflight for the Cricket200 FC which they haven't bothered to maintain or keep up-to-date, so the only firmware version available for that FC is Betaflight 4.2.0 from almost 2 years ago. You can find that firmware at the link below...

I guess that is not my real issue. I have the FW flashed and I can enter the configurator but on BF com port shows "simulation"

Did you try AutoConnect turned on and does it show other Serial Com ports in the drop down list?

Thanks. Ok, tried auto detect. No other com ports shown. Also, is this "no data flash chip" part of the issue?

Did this FC ever connect to BF? Is this a new FC?

Do you have other FC's that work with the same computer? Using the same data USB cable?

Brand new FC.  Yes, using same computer and cable that works with other quads.

You might have a hardware issue there.

If its a new FC then best you ask the store for a return.
