Help to find out ESC 4 in 1 to buy
#1
Hey guys! I would appreciate your inputs about the next situation.

I have 2 spare Flightcontrollers which includes a VTX, making my life easy building and placing parts. All of them are Ldarc KK Superfly. The fist tower i got came with this FC+VTX+ESC, and the others came without it because they were replacements.

I want to keeo eveything on the same brand to ensure compatibility but i'ts being kinda tricking to get just the ESC part. Went to BG but is not longer available and fuound the full tower on another website, but the shipping cost makes no sense to me.

Any idea or suggestion about which 4 i 1 ESC would macth my FC with built in VTX? https://www.xt-xinte.com/LDARC-KK-Super-...45319.html

Thanks in advance for your help and knowledge!

Any 30x30 4-in-1 ESC will work. Just take your pick depending on your budget. I wouldn't get anything less than 40A for a 5" build, but it will also depend on what motors you are using as to the current they can potentially draw at 100% throttle.

Just be mindful that with a different brand of ESC you will need to check and maybe re-pin the ESC-to-FC connector harness so the wiring between the ESC and FC is correct. Don't just plug it in and hope for the best because by doing that there's a chance that you could fry something on the FC.

Hey! So sorry for my late reply. Thank you for the explanation.
I'm considering the Diatone Mamba F40 40A 3-6S to macth with my board, it seems to have good reviews and the price is good, but, i'm a bit confused with the pin numbers.

My ESC connects to my FC using a 7 pin harness (Same brand and model, Ldarc Superfly KK), but this Diatone one have 8 pins. On the Diatone ESC there is a "NC" pin, looking a bit it means "Not connected" if the poster is right, but, do i need it to macth with my FC or just leave it alone?

This is both ESC configurations:

GND -VCC -1      -2    -3    -4    -NC -CURR - Diatone Mamba F40 40A 3-6S
GND -BAT - IN1 -IN2 -IN3 -IN4 -CU - Superfly KK ESC (The one i have which matchs my FC)

You will need to attach the 7 pin jst connector to the FC end of the wire by repinning it since your FC only has 7 pins. Just remove the NC wire as your FC doednt have a pin for it. You will likely need to calibrate your amp meter for amp draw. Double check your pins when you plug your connector into your fc and to make sure you don't get it backwards (easy to do if you realize later you had to flip your connector to plug it in)
