7 So I bought the Newbeedrone cricket stack not noticing that it is for DJI air units. I started soldering it before I noticed and have reached the point of no return. The problem I am having is that I cannot get video. It acts like the camera isn't connected. There are not enough 5+v pads on this flight controller for all the components it is set up for either. I don't know if I am even getting the right power to the camera. I am ready to take this thing out and shoot it but I spent a lot of money on this stupid thing. If any one has any insight on this issue please help me. Don't know if I should just buy another flight controller and trash this one.

388 There is nothing really different between a non-DJI vs DJI specific FC. The main difference is the DJI FC has a nice port to directly connect the Air unit. There is nothing stopping you from using it as a regular FC. I see that there is two 5V. One you solder to and the other one on the harness port. Do you need more than that? You can always piggyback solder. Double check your wiring. Or post a photo of your wiring.

7 That's what I figured and I know I wired everything correctly. I'd post a picture but I took it all apart. I do need more than 2 (1) 5v being that I am hooking up a camera, crossfire nano, GPS, Gopro light, etc. Normal flight controllers that I have use have multiple 5v pads and that's what I'm used to I guess. I tried to piggyback on the 5v but no power to the camera so maybe the camera is bad. Its a brand new camera though. I've already decided that I'm done with this stack.

388 Wire the camera signal directly to the VTX to rule out the camera or FC. And also, you can power the camera off the VTX 5V.

7 I figured out the problem. It was the VTX. I have had some bad luck with rush VTX's and the curse continues. This is the third one DOA. I don't know why. I don't have any trouble with any other VTX. I am done buying rush I guess. I hooked up an AKK VTX I had laying around and no problems.

0 Sorry, off topic a bit. I have the same stack. Were you able to find the hex file if/when you updated FC? Are you running BF 4.2.5?
